Housing Development Corporation and Maldives Autism Association joined together yesterday to conduct an awareness session on Intellectual Disabilities. This event, which was held in Rehendhi School, was attended by around 40 individuals.

The session was conducted by staffs from Maldives Autism Association, where they had covered areas such as Navigating the Spectrum, Identifying & Assisting Children, Recognizing Individual Special Skills, and Enhancement of Special Skills.

Maldives Autism Association setup their headquarters in Hulhumalé last year and has since worked with Housing Development Corporation to ensure that all members of our society are actively involved in the community.
