HDC signs with Islanders Education to develop a Finland International School

Housing Development Corporation signed with Islanders Education Pvt. Ltd., to develop Finland International School in Hulhumalé.

The agreement was signed by HDC’s Managing Director Mr Mohamed Saiman and Islanders Education’s Chairman Mr Abdul Rasheed, at the official event held by Islanders this evening at Hotel Jen, to introduce Finland Education in the Maldives.

The school will be located in Neighbourhood II area, with a capacity of approximately 1500 students, from grade 1 till 12. The school is expected to be developed within the next two years.

Today’s official launch of Finland Education in the country was attended by Minister of Education Dr Aishath Shiham, senior officials of the Ministry, National Institute of Education, management and staff of HDC along with senior personnel from various other entities.

Islanders Education states that they are collaborating with EduCluster, a Finnish company with a mandate to export Finland Education. EduCluster has opened the world’s first Finnish International School in Doha and the second school is to be opened in the Maldives with Islanders Education.
