H.E.P Ibrahim Mohamed Solih inaugurated “Rahfehi” tree planting program, one of the 100 day’s pledges by the government. The tree planting event took place this evening in Hulhumalé Phase II in which HDC was the hosting partner.

HEP Ibrahim Mohamed Solih was accompanied by former President Maumoom Abdul Gayyoom, and former Minister Mr. Umar Zahir, Minister of State for Environment Dr. Abdulla Naseer, as well as Management and staff from Ministry of Environment, HDC, other Ministries and state owned organizations were also present to witness and participate in this event.

HDC is proud to have been a part of this initiative, which we believe is a major step taken by the government of H.E.P Solih, towards minimizing the threats faced by this island nation due to effects of climate change
