This project consists of the development of the road network and utilities, i.e. the electricity grid, water and sewerage lines, at neighborhood 3 (three) of Hulhumale’, at the area where the 1000 (one thousand) housing units are being developed by CMEC and the 250 (two hundred and fifty) land plots to be allocated via the Veshi Fahi housing program.

The Agreement was signed at the main office of the Ministry of Housing and infrastructure in Malé on the 10th of September 2012, between the Housing Development Corporation (HDC) and China Machinery Engineering Corporation (CMEC). The project is being undertaken in collaboration with the Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure.

While the Contract period for the project is one year, the objective is to complete the works before the housing units are handed over to nominated purchasers/owners under the Veshi Fahi housing program.
