Today marks a momentous occasion as Hiyaa Park has been inaugurated with great joy! 

Located at Phase 2 Hiyaa Flat area, extending from Hiyaa Tower H5 to H15, this park is envisioned to be a haven that unites all Hiyaa residents in unwinding, relaxing, and experiencing pure joy and playfulness. 

The lively children’s evening, inaugurated by the Deputy Managing Director, Ahmed Gais, brought together numerous families residing in the area. Booths offering an assortment of activities, including games, song performances, face painting, and a selection of light food, adorned the park, engaging the young attendees. 

Prior to opening day, community painting sessions were organised to decorate the park with delightful paintings from the community. These sessions aimed at strengthening community bonds and cultivating a sense of belonging. The art that now brightens Hiyaa Park vividly displays the artistic talent and creativity of the community. 

Overall, the successful inauguration of the park sets the stage for Hiyaa Park to serve as a safe and open space for the residents, enhancing their quality of life. This project reflects our efforts to make Hulhumalé a more child and family-friendly city.
