The Urbanco Maldives Food Carnival officially kicked off today, creating a buzz of excitement among food enthusiasts. We aim to foster an inclusive environment where small and medium enterprises (SMEs) can promote their business, with Think Maldives, Dhiraagu and Taste Maldives.
The Food Carnival will be held from 20th June until the 24th of June, at Central Park which has been transformed into a gastronomic paradise that offers a wide array of treats to try. Visitors will experience a unique food festival and sample delicious local and international cuisine. The carnival will include a Food Expo, Food Street & Artisan Markets, Tastes of Raajje, Tea & Coffee Festival, and more on-site for a full culinary experience.
This event provides a vibrant opportunity for local entrepreneurs and artisans to gain exposure and connect with the community. These events are essential in emphasising the importance of providing a platform for SMEs and creatives to showcase their talents, as they not only contribute to the local economy but also foster a sense of community pride and cultural appreciation.
