Hulhumale’ Neighborhood 01 was the first area developed in the city. To cater for the small population Hulhumale’ had, at the beginning these parks were developed according to the necessities during those days. This park was opened for public on 2012 as a leisure park with grass lawns, contours, lot of seating and a play area for the children.

As the population has increased in the past years, re-designing the park relating to the current demands is an important decision taken by HDC. Therefore with an increase of much more interactive activities in the park it is necessary to maintain a balance in the leisure ambience existing in the park.

HDC is targeting to re-open the park to the public as a gathering space for the families to enjoy with more interactive activities. Within the nature friendly ambience we hope to introduce children play areas, food stalls and more fun interactive activities for both adults and children.

This park consists of children playing area, volley court a plaza area with seating’s.
