Housing Development Corporation collaborated with Hope for Women to conducted an awareness session on “Gender Equality & Economic Empowerment”, yesterday.

Held at Rehendhi School, this session was conducted for 14 participants, focusing on areas of the difference between gender and sex, the socialization process, and the difference between equality and equity. Gender-related statistics and barriers to women’s economic empowerment and participation, and how to overcome those challenges were also covered during the awareness session.
