With the development objectives of Hulhumale’ as a city with all modern amenities, Red Wave has become the first supermarket to be opened in Hulhumale’. Red Wave was officially opened by Minister of Economic Development Mr Mohamed Saeed at a ceremony held last night.

Located near the Hulhumale’ temporary mosque in Neighborhood 3, this supermarket will cater to thousands of people living in Hulhumale’, bringing ease and convenience to the large numbers of people who has to otherwise travel to the capital Malé everyday to buy household items.

The contract to build and operate a large scale supermarket which consists of a total commercial floor space of 8917 square feet was signed by Housing Development Corporation and Red Wave private limited on the 16th December 2015.
