An agreement was signed between HDC and Ministry of Economic Development to lease land for the establishment of a multi-purpose industrial building in Hulhumalé.

This agreement was signed by Minister of Economic Development Mohamed Saeed and Managing Director of HDC Mohamed Saiman, today at the Ministry.

This multi-purpose building will cater to the needs of SME’s industrial work and provide services for the development of local products. Some of the identified products include soft toys and pillows. In addition, it will also provide factory facilities within the building, to bring additional Maldivian products to the market.
