On the 11th of January 2016, HDC and Maldives Hajj corporation signs the MoU for an employee hajj scheme. In a ceremony held at the HDC Building in Hulhumalé, the MoU was signed by the managing director of HDC, Mr Mohamed Saiman and the Managing Director of Maldives Hajj Corporation, Mr Yameen Idhrees.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr Yameen Idrees stated that HDC was the first company that joined the employee Hajj scheme, and the purpose of the scheme was to help the youth of the nation save money for pilgrimage.

Mr Mohamed Saiman, highlighted that the new scheme would help HDC’s employees  fulfill the Hajj, pilgrimage.
