Sixteen staff of Housing Development Corporation has completed the free diving course for the employees.

Organized by Club HDC, this course with one month’s duration, was initiated last year in collaboration with Free Dive Maldives, where the opportunity to take part was open to all employees.

Upon completion, 10 participants were awarded Free Diver Level 1 certificate, while 6 were awarded Basic Free Diver certificate.

A record was broken in South Asia for the most number of participants in a batch with the initial 23 staff.

CHDC is the corporation’s staff club which provides staff with recreational, social and development activities including the chance to participate in novel activities.
