Housing Development Corporation successfully concluded the family evening at Central park today, to mark this year’s World Health Day.
The event commenced with addresses from the Acting Head of Hulhumalé Hospital and CEO of Tree Top Hospital. The addresses were followed by a speech from HDC’s Director of Municipal Administration Mr. Ahmed Faathih, who shared his hopes that through this event, not only will the people become closer as a community, but also become more health conscious. He also identified the several partners who took part in this event, without whom this evening would not become a great success.
The activities of the event then followed, with Ghaazee School, FitZone, and Shape by Gymnasia providing exciting performances allowing the public to take part as well.
Throughout the activities, 18 of our partners who took part in this event had their stalls in various zones of Central Park, providing free medical check-ups, health exams, and information to those who visit.
Tree Top Hospital provided tests such as bone density tests, diabetes tests, and Echo tests, while doctors specialized in kidney related diseases and dieticians were available to give out medical advices.
This event would be one of the largest health related events held in Hulhumalé by far, providing not only health related support, but created an eventful environment for everyone who visited.
