On the 8^th of August 2015, Mr Thoriq Ibrahim, Minister of Environment and Energy along with Major General (Ret) Moosa Ali Jaleel, Minister of Defence and National Security inaugurated the third Greening event in Hulhumalé Phase II.

MNDF officers, government officials, Managing Director and other senior officials of Housing Development Corporation also participated in the event.

About 500 trees were planted at the event which is part of the Hulhumalé Phase II Greening Series.
