Inauguration of HDC Apprenticeship Program 2016

Housing Development Corporation’s Apprenticeship Program 2016 was inaugurated today. At a ceremony held in HDC head office, the program was inaugurated by HDC’s Managing Director Mohamed Saiman.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Director of TVET Authority Aminath Asra, officials of TVET Authority, management and staff of HDC.
After interviewing more than 100 applications, 20 apprentices were awarded placement to this program to train in three fields: carpentry, electrician and welding.
The apprentices will train under direct supervision from HDC with guidance from TVET authority for six months. Upon successful completion, the apprentices will be awarded National Level III certificate.
HDC Apprenticeship Program aims to develop skilled youth in the society true to our strategic pillar of developing a consonant community and socio-economic equity within Hulhumale’.
