On the 12^th of April 2015, in a ceremony held at Jen hotel, Male’, Hulhumalé Tree Top hospital was inaugurated by its partner companies.

The Multi-specialty hospital which is to be developed by Tree Top Investments is going to be managed by, Sime Derby, Malaysia and is to be the first Hospital in Maldives that is managed by an internationally renowned brand.

When fully developed, the hospital will have a capacity of 600 beds and will have private access to an emergency jetty which will facilitate sea- ambulance services.

The construction of the hospital is estimated to be completed by November 11, 2016 and is set to open on March 1^st, 2017.
