Minister of Finance and Treasury Ahmed Munawar officially inaugurated the Hulhumalé branch of Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB) this evening at the function held at Centro Shopping Mall.

Speaking at the ceremony, Minister Munawar highlighted the importance of Maldives Islamic Bank to Maldives and shared the government’s vision towards the bank’s expansion.

MIB Hulhumalé branch is located in Centro, the newly built shopping mall in Hulhumalé. MIB started its services in May last year, as one of the first business to operate in Centro, following the official signing of agreement with Housing Development Corporation.
