The president of Maldives, Mr. Mohamed Nasheed visited Hulhumalé today, 13th April 2011 with the purpose of this trip being to review the ongoing Housing Projects in the Island City. Thereby, President Nasheed visited the housing projects being developed in Hulhumalé under the Governement  Housing scheme including the Coral Ville Housing Project, Hulhumalé Row House Project and the Chinese Housing Project.

During this visit to Hulhumalé, President Nasheed also visited the Ghaazee School and was warmly welcomed by the senior management of the school. The management highlighted the president with the concurrent activities and the work currently undertaken by the school. Mr. President also visited the Hulhumalé Pre School.

Before concluding the visit, President Nasheed visited the Hulhumalé Mosque and the Hulhumalé hospital as well.
