Pruksa-HDC & HDC holds “I love Hulhumalé” Cleaning Event.
Pruksa-HDC, together with HDC, holds its first social responsibility event in Hulhumalé, titled “I Love Hulhumalé”. The clean-up event, which started at 3pm, was attended by the senior officials of HDC and Pruksa-HDC.
Welcome speeches were given by the Deputy Managing Director of HDC, Mr. Suhail Ahmed and Mr. Piyabutr; MD of Pruksa-HDC. In his speech, Mr. Piyabutr highlighted the intention the event, “The purpose of this event is to make Hulhumalé a clean and a healthier place”.
During the event, Pruksa-HDC donated a motorbike to the Hulhumalé police department. In addition to this, more than 40 recycle bins were donated to HDC as part of the cleanup effort. These bins will be located throughout the island. Mr. Piyabutr concluded his speech by thanking all the participants and others who were actively involved in the clean up effort. “We hope that this will help show our dedication and commitment to the development of Hulhumalé. Thank you all, again, for attending this event.” Piyabutr concluded his speech.
Despite the rainy weather, more than 150 people, including teams from Hulhumalé Police, MNDF, Wataniya, HDC staff, Kaysorn Construction workers, as well as Coralville customers took part in this highly successful event. The event was concluded with a group photo shoot with all the participants.
