A Water Splash Day in conjunction with Children’s Day 2016 was organized by Housing Development Corporation on Friday. This event was held from 2pm to 6pm in the Central Park of Hulhumale’.

The event had a total of 12 water based activity stalls, run by the partners of this event which included Media Net, Maldives Police Service, Maldives National Defence Force, Ghaazee School, Lale’ Youth International School, Little Gems Pre-School, Rehendhi School, Hulhumale’ Sports School, UCMAS and Hulhumale’ Academic Centre. While Media Net was the main sponsor of the event, First Aid was provided by Hulhumale’ Hospital.

In addition to the activities by the stalls, there were exhibitions of Motor Bikes from Racing Association of Maldives and Jet Skis from K.K Water Sports as well as performances by Habeys Bodu Beru Group.

Children from both Hulhumale’ and Male’ enjoyed the activities of the event.
