Sadaqat Foundation celebrates the success of “Hithaanee Ufaa 2016”

Sadaqat Foundation marked the ending of the successful “Hithaanee Ufaa 2016” tonight in Hulhumalé.
President of Maldives His Excellency Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayyoom and First Lady and Founder of Sadaqat Foundation Madam Fathmath Ibrahim attended the closing ceremony.
The President and First Lady was accompanied by Chief Guest of the ceremony- Member of Parliament and Leader of MDA Ahmed Shiyam, Member of Parliament and Secretary General of Sadaqat Foundation Abdulla Shinan, Ministers and Parliament Members, Housing Development Corporation’s Managing Director Mohamed Saiman, MDs and management of companies and institutions.
The official closing ceremony of the event was followed by colorful fireworks and entertainment by Maldivian Idol contestants and other music performances.
The circumcision camp organized by Sadaqat Foundation was an initiative taken by First Lady with the aim of helping the children and their families in need. A total of 120 children were circumcised in this camp.
Hithaanee Ufaa 2016 went on with many entertainment items for the children, such as magic shows, live music and boduberu. HEP Abdulla Yameen visited Hithaanee Ufaa previously and the First Lady frequently visited Hulhumalé to ensure the well-being of the circumcised children and to provide necessary assistance to the families.
The camp was supported by all major companies and institutions of the country. As such, Housing Development Corporation distributed gifts to all the children at Hithaanee Camp.
