Application for Royal Yachting Association Certified Boat Drivers is
NOW OPEN!
Creating opportunities for the community and empowering our youth of tomorrow; HDC in collaboration with Royal Yachting Association is seeking 10 individuals to participate in an opportunity of a life time.
Power boat level 2 certified boat drivers is an internationally recognized certification accepted worldwide.
Our objective of this program is to develop skilled youth in our society true to our strategic pillar of developing a consonant community and brining socio-economic equity within Hulhumalé. This is one of the key CSR initiatives endorsed by HDC to empower our youth.
Minimum Qualification and Requirement
1. Individual should be a Maldivian national.
2. Completion of Grade 10 or any equivalent certification.
3. Candidates should be within the age group of 18-35 years.
4. Candidates should be able to communicate in English.
5. Candidates experienced in watersports will be prioritized.
6. Candidates who can work long hours with no health conditions.
Duration:
Theoretical component of the training program will be conducted for 2 days (local) and practical sessions will be conducted for a duration of 10 weeks (abroad)
Number of participants: 10 slots.
Graduation requirements:
· Candidates must achieve a minimum of 50% in the assessments (theoretical and practical)
· Candidates should achieve minimum 95% of attendance
· Candidates should achieve a satisfactory performance level
Elimination
Should the candidate fail to maintain a satisfactory attendance, conduct and performance during the training program, HDC reserves the right to withdraw the offer made and remove the individual from the training program.
